All services are provided exclusively on the basis of the General German Freight Forwarders’ Conditions 2017 (ADSp 2017).
Liability limitation:
Clause 23 of the ADSp 2017 deviates from statutory liability provisions regarding the maximum liability for damage to goods (§ 431 German Commercial Code – HGB).
In cases of multimodal transport including sea carriage and where the place of damage is unknown, liability is limited to 2 SDR/kg.
In all other cases, the standard liability of 8.33 SDR/kg is additionally limited to a maximum of EUR 1.25 million per claim and EUR 2.5 million per damage event, but at least 2 SDR/kg.
